Euphoria by Erin Noelle Blog Tour

Blurb

After a series of catastrophic misunderstandings and impulsively poor decision-making, Scarlett MacGregor finds herself once again torn between two loves, as different as they may be. Lacking proper closure with their relationship, accompanied by the overwhelming guilt for her role in his devastating downfall, Scarlett resolves to help Mason recover and reclaim his life as a budding rock star. However, now that he has finally claimed her as his, Ash Walker is bound and determined to keep her by his side, and he will go to any lengths necessary to do just that.

Mason Templeton has hit rock bottom. He’s in love with a girl whose heart and soul belong to another and he’s partied his way off of an international music tour that was supposed to be his big break. Returning home for rehab sounds like the worst possible way to start a new year, but when an unexpected friendship emerges, he begins to realize that maybe everything does happen for a reason.

Euphoria is the third and final installment of Scarlett, Ash, and Mason’s self-discovering journeys to happiness and understanding the meaning of true love ~ the kind that begs for complete surrender

Recommended for readers 17+ due to sexual content and harsh language.

Christine Says:

Okay, so this review is a hard one for me to write. This one just didn't work for me. It has nothing to do with anything beyond that I just was not happy where the story went. I respect the author and can't fault her for it, this was where she felt the story needed to go but with that being said I just didn't fall in love with this one.

After finishing Metamorphosis, I was so confused on what team to be on in this crazy love triangle. Then in Ambrosia, I was beyond flustered on whom I wanted Scarlett to be with although I was slightly leaning towards Mason. However in Euphoria, Scarlett had me going crazy with every page, I didn't like her wishy washy ways with these two men. In a way I wished she would've decided to just step back and truly find herself without either of these men then that would've saved me some heartache (maybe).

Okay, so I don't want to go to deep into the story line for those that haven't started the series yet so I will stay away from commenting on that. As an avid reader, I love to escape out of reality into my books although at times I need a realistic story I mostly read to escape. We have those moments when we read and think "that shit would never happen in real life" but at the end of the day that's what some of us want. I don't know why but with this story I needed that escape and I know love triangles never end well cause when written great, we end up falling in love with both men and it will crush us in some way. I just hate what direction this story went to and was beyond pissed how the love triangle was ended. I should've known when things seemed to be to good to be true, that something I wasn't prepared for would happen. Real life isn't allowed to happen in my books, LOL.

This one gets 3 bookmarks from me. I know some that beyond loved this one but it just didn't work for me. I am a fan of Erin's writing so I will check out her future books but if it's a love triangle, I most likely will not indulge.

Excerpt

Embracing her one last time, I whispered in her ear, “I love you, butterfly… ‘your curves

and all your edges, and all your perfect imperfections.’ I’ll see you tomorrow night.”

“I love you, too, Ash. ‘You’re my end and my beginning; even when I lose, I’m winning,’”

she whispered back. Then she grabbed her bag and headed for the security check point. Right

before turning the corner where I couldn’t see her anymore, she looked back at me and blew me

a kiss and made hand hearts. Damn, she was beautiful. I stood there for several minutes with a

goofy ass grin on my face. I wasn’t expecting her to sing the next lyrics of the song to me, but it

filled me with an indescribable feeling of warmth and love. ~Ash
