Worth the Fight (Accidentally on Purpose #3)

Luke Kessler loved Emmy.
She broke his heart.
Then she revealed a life altering secret that brought them back together.
Time and forgiveness heal old wounds and love flourishes. Luke and Emmy find themselves reaching for a happily ever after together. When their pasts begin to push into their present and hurtful mistakes are made, the couple struggle with each other and their past demons. How much is too much? Will the couple be able to fight their way to a happily ever after? Are their lives together worth the fight?

***Excerpt***

“Are you really going to wear that shirt while you make love to me?” she asked, letting her eyes fall on the shirt I had forgotten I had on.

I looked down at my shirt, too and frowned. I could take the shirt off, but I hadn't realized it was so offensive.

“Stripes,” she snorted, shaking her head. “You’re so lucky that I know what I’m getting under that hideous shirt.”

I laughed now. More of our earlier conversation had followed us into the bedroom.

“Go ahead and laugh,” she said primly. “I don’t know if I’ll be able to have an orgasm while running my hands up and down your horizontal lines.”F***

Christine's Review:

I was beyond ecstatic when I found out that Luke was getting his on story. I loved the first two books and if any character needed his POV told, it was definitely Luke!

If you haven't read the first two books in this series, you need to go one-click them now!
So if you haven't read the first two, I'm going to try and not ruin it for you but a love triangle is involved and Luke was done very wrong by Emmy. Luke was left heart-broken and now with his POV, you really get to know Luke and see how it all effected him. Seeing it through his eyes, made me fall in love with him even more. I found myself even more mad at Emmy for not choosing Luke. This was one amazing roller-coaster of a ride filled with angst to the max, heart-break, love, and some hot sexy time. (he-he)

L.D. Davis did an amazing job cause not once did I ever feel like I was reading the prior books. The flow and writing was brilliant as in the prior books. If you love your stories with angst then these books are for you. After finishing this I felt whole again and loved it even more than the first two which are all 5 star reads for me. This is one amazing series that it WORTH reading. I can't wait for more from this author.
